What we have here is the proposed design of Dens Park (the home of Dundee FC) by Scottish architect Archibald Leitch. A Glasgow born architect, Leitch was famed for designing football grounds and helped design some of the most iconic stadiums in Britain. Between 1899 and 1939 grounds like Anfield, Goodison, Ibrox and Old Trafford (amongst others) were all projects led by ‘Archie’.
The Main Stand at Dens is still there and has stood for over 90 years. The current capacity of Dens Park is 11,850.
