Lionel Messi lies in the back of the net during the Copa America final against Chile. For his second major tournament in a row the little Argentinian was to be given the best player award but on this occasion it is rumoured that he refused to accept it. Messi was in a similar situation after the World Cup final last summer. 
Moments after the heartbreaking defeat to Germany he was given the player of the tournament trophy. The look on his face that night summed up his feelings about receiving such a prize after losing a World Cup final. This time round he allegedly turned down the Copa America award after the final whistle so the trophy was removed from the prize giving ceremony.
